Going Green for Business

Last night we were one of seven exhibitors at the Southbury Business Association Monthly Meeting. The theme was "Going Green for Business".  We were there as the first Bed and Breakfast in Connecticut to be certified as Green Lodging.

When asked why we thought Green was good for business, we noted that our guests appreciate knowing that our house is free from harmful chemicals (both inside and outside) and that we are committed to doing what we can to help create a sustainable environment.  Given the age of our house - 190 years - it is important to look back on how it has endured for all these years and our role in making sure we do all we can to see that it is here for another 200 years.
