Bolero - Waterbury Symphony Orchestra on November 4, 2012

Ed Edelson, Innkeeper of the Cornucopia at Oldfield will be doing the introductory announcements at the next performance of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra.  The next performance of the 2012-2013 season is on November 4, 2012 at 3pm. As Musical Director Lief Bjaland puts it: "Our presentation of Bolero will grow from a minimalist beginning to Ravel’s unstoppable orchestral showpiece. Along the way eight soloists will animate music from exotic places the world over. This program is without intermission and without pause beginning to end. An afternoon of drama!" For more information go to www.waterburysymphony.org.

Cornucopia at Oldfield is proud to be the hospitality sponsor for the WSO, now celebrating its 75th anniversary. Lief Bjaland, the Musical Director will be staying with us the week before each performance. In addition, we will be offering a package for each performance that include two tickets for that weekend with a two night stay in the Admiral Aston or John Moseley rooms.
